Angle Grinder Connection, Fast RPM, Clean Cuts
-
Vacuum-Brazed Diamond Edge: High-density industrial diamonds are permanently bonded to the core for a significantly longer service life than standard bits.
-
High-Speed Performance: Engineered to withstand the high RPMs of angle grinders, providing a faster and smoother cutting experience.
-
Rock-Solid 5/8"-11 Connection: Ensures a direct, secure fit that minimizes vibration and wobbling during high-torque applications.
-
Dry & Wet Versatility: Optimized for dry jobsite conditions with side slots for heat dissipation, while remaining fully compatible with wet drilling for maximum durability.
-
Rigid Steel Core: Built with a heavy-duty steel body to maintain accuracy and prevent warping when drilling through thick masonry and stone slabs.
Compatible Materials
Compatible Materials
- Materials: Quartz, granite, concrete, brick, masonry, porcelain tile, ceramic tile, marble, and slate.
- Tool Compatibility: Direct mounting on 5/8"-11 threaded angle grinders. Compatible with standard power drills only if used with a separate hex adapter.
- Note: Not for use on glass, mirrored surfaces, or fragile decorative tiles.
How To Use
How To Use
- Angle Grinder Mounting: Thread the hole saw directly onto the 5/8"-11 spindle of your angle grinder. Ensure the connection is tight before operation.
- Starting the Cut: Start at a 45-degree angle to create a "crescent" notch. This prevents the bit from wandering. Once the groove is established, slowly tilt the tool to a 90-degree angle.
- You can also cut a guide out of scrap wood. that will hold and guide the tool in place.
- Operating Technique: Use high RPMs and light, steady pressure. Let the vacuum-brazed diamonds do the cutting; do not force the tool into the material.
- Heat Management: For deep cuts in stone or masonry, periodically back the bit out of the hole to clear dust and allow the air-cooled side slots to manage heat buildup.
Use Cases
Use Cases
- Electrical & Lighting: Ideal for creating precise pass-throughs for conduit and specialized wiring in stone or tile walls.
- Kitchen & Bath: Perfectly sized for smaller plumbing lines, soap dispensers, or filtered water taps in granite and quartz countertops.
- Renovation Work: Core drilling for anchors or plumbing fixtures in porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone flooring.
- Masonry: Cleanly piercing through brick, block, and non-reinforced concrete for utility access.

F.A.Q.
F.A.Q.
Q: Does this fit a standard hand drill?
A: This bit features a 5/8"-11 threaded connection designed specifically for angle grinders. To use this with a standard 3/8" or 1/2" power drill chuck, a 5/8"-11 to Hex Shank adapter is required (sold separately).
Q: Can I use this for dry drilling?
A: Yes, the vacuum brazed technology is engineered for high-speed dry drilling. Using water as a coolant is optional but will extend the life of the bit and provide a cleaner cut.
Q: What is the maximum drilling depth?
A: This hole saw has a 1-3/8 inch depth of cut, which is ideal for standard countertops, floor tiles, and masonry pavers.
Q: Can I use this on glass?
A: We do not recommend this specific brazed bit for delicate glass or mirrors. For those materials, our Chrome Series wet-drilling bits are the preferred choice.
