Details: This 7-1/2 inch Chrome Series Diamond Hole Saw Drill Bit is ideal for cutting holes in difficult materials such as porcelain tile, glass, fish tanks, marble, granite, ceramic, and porcelain. Note that the actual hole diameter may be slightly smaller than 7.5 inches, depending on the material removed. The diamond coating provides superior performance and a long lifetime. Our tools do not require center pilot holes, as they are designed for precise drilling without the need for prior drilling. These tools can drill up to 1 inch in depth and have a 3/8 inch shank size for standard electric or rechargeable drills. To prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to keep the drill bit cooled with water. You can easily do this by creating a mini water pool with plumber's putty, spraying water directly on the drill bit, or using running water. Additionally, using plywood, plastic, or cardboard as a guide can help keep the drill bit on target
