The Drilax 3 Inch Masonry Diamond Hole Saw is a heavy-duty dry core bit from our Gold Series, built to cut clean, accurately sized holes in concrete, brick, block, granite, quartz and stone. Industrial-grade diamonds are sintered into the cutting teeth and laser-welded to the steel body, so they stay locked in place under load, and the 2-inch cutting depth gets through thick block and exterior walls in a single pass. The included template drill guide positions the hole saw on your mark so it starts without wandering.
Benefits
Sintered Diamond Teeth: Diamonds are bonded through the cutting teeth rather than coated on the surface, so the bit keeps cutting as it wears.
2-Inch Cutting Depth: Gets through thick concrete block, brick and exterior walls in one pass.
Template Drill Guide Included: Positions the hole saw on brick and block for an accurate, clean start.
Dry or Wet Use: Runs dry on masonry; add a little water for longer bit life and less dust.
3/8" Triangular Shank: Fits any standard corded or cordless drill with no adapter, and the flat sides stop it slipping in the chuck.

How To Use
How To Use
- Drill Mounting: The 3/8 inch triangular shank fits directly into any standard corded or cordless drill. No adapter needed.
- Starting the Cut: Hold the included template drill guide firmly against the surface over your mark and start the bit inside it at low speed. Remove the template once the groove is established.
- Operating Technique: Use a steady, moderate speed with light pressure and let the diamond teeth do the cutting. Do not use the hammer setting.
- Heat Management: It is built for dry use, but a wet sponge or a small stream of water keeps the bit cooler and cuts dust.
- Safety Note: If you hit rebar, stop drilling to avoid damaging the diamond teeth.

F.A.Q.
F.A.Q.
Q: Can I use this bit with a regular cordless drill?
A: Yes. The 3/8 inch triangular shank fits any standard 3-jaw chuck. You do not need an SDS or rotary hammer drill.
Q: Is water cooling required?
A: No. This is a dry core bit. Using a little water extends bit life and reduces dust in very hard material.
Q: Can I use hammer mode?
A: No. Hammer mode can crack the diamond teeth. Use rotary mode only.
Q: How deep can I drill?
A: The bit cuts 2 inches deep. For thicker walls, break out the core and continue drilling.
