How To Use

  • Mark & Wet: Mark the hole and spray or drip water on the spot. A small water dam of putty or a wet sponge works well.
  • Start at an Angle: There is no pilot bit. Start at about 45 degrees to cut a small groove, or use a drill guide or scrap-wood template.
  • Go Upright: Slowly bring the drill upright and drill slow and steady with light pressure.
  • Keep It Wet: Keep adding water until you break through, and clear the core from the bit after each hole. Don't use hammer mode.
