The Drilax 4 Inch Chrome Series Diamond Hole Saw Kit cuts clean, round 4 inch openings in porcelain, ceramic, tile, glass, granite, quartz and marble. A triple layer of electroplated diamond on a solid steel body grinds through hard, brittle materials instead of cracking them, so you get a smooth hole without an angle grinder. It has a 1-1/8 inch depth of cut and a standard 3/8 inch shank that fits the drill you already own. It is sized for shower valves, drains, toilet flanges and pipe pass-throughs. The included drill guide keeps the bit from wandering at the start and holds water around the cut.

How To Use

  • Position the Guide: Place the included guide over your mark so the opening sits where you want the hole.
  • Add Water: Fill the guide opening with water, or keep spraying or dripping water on the cut.
  • Start Slowly: Run the drill at low speed and let the guide hold the bit in place while the diamond cuts a groove.
  • Light Pressure: Keep the drill upright, keep the cut wet and let the diamonds do the work. Lift the bit out to add water as needed.
