Details: These bits are a very popular type and size used by Jewelry Designers for drilling a nice clean hole in Beach Sea Glass for making Earrings, Pendants and Bracelets. They have multiple layers of industrial diamond particles bonded to the tips which provides for longer drill life and are excellent for drilling completely through any thickness of Beach Sea Glass up to 1/2" thick. These Bits can be used in any high speed Dremel-Type Rotary Tool or Small Precision Drill Press with an adjustable collet.

Comparison of two types of 1mm Diamond Drill Bits.

Product 1: Twisted 

• Description: Conventional 1mm drill bit coated with diamond abrasives.
• Features: Angled tip for easier starting and deeper depth of cut.
• Usage: Shank is also 1mm, so it requires a 1mm collet or special chuck for holding. Must be used upright and is strictly for drilling holes.

Product 2: Cylindrical (Diamond Burrs)

• Description: Flat-tipped drill bit, also classified as diamond burrs.
• Features: Requires starting the hole at an angle before going upright. The sides are diamond-coated, allowing for enlarging or elongating existing holes.
• Usage: Fits standard Dremel collets or chucks with a 1/8 inch shank. Has a shallower depth of cut compared to the twisted version.
