The Drilax 2-1/2 Inch Pro Series Diamond Hole Saw threads straight onto a 5/8"-11 angle grinder and cuts clean, round 2-1/2 inch holes in concrete, brick, cinder block, stucco, granite, quartz, marble, porcelain and ceramic tile. Industrial diamonds are vacuum brazed to a solid steel body, so the cutting edge stays sharp at high grinder RPM. It drills dry for fast jobsite work, or with water for cooler running and longer life, with a 1-3/8 inch depth of cut. It is sized for granite countertop cutouts and sink corners, and holds up through aged concrete and stone. A drill adapter is included, so you can also run it in a standard drill with a 1/2 inch chuck.
Benefits
Vacuum Brazed Diamonds: Permanently bonded industrial diamonds for fast cutting and long life, rated for 100+ holes.

Dry or Wet Drilling: Drill dry for speed. Add water for cooler running and longer bit life.

Q: How do I start the hole without a pilot bit?
A: Start at about a 45 degree angle to cut a groove, then slowly bring the tool upright and keep moving it in small circles.
Q: What is the difference between Pro and Chrome Series?
A: Pro Series bits have vacuum brazed diamonds and a 5/8"-11 thread for angle grinders, and drill masonry, concrete and stone dry or wet. Chrome Series bits are electroplated, use a 3/8" drill shank and are for wet drilling tile and glass.
