mpc: great for me
I'm a tile setter. These work for stone (soft) and porcelain (hard). So, great for me. We start them at an angle while we get a groove started, and then slowly go straight on until the drill is level and pushing right through. I will keep a sponge with water right up to it and will squeeze more water out as needed to keep the bit cool which will make it last longer.

Did the job
Kindle Customer: Awesome tools!
I can't say enough good things about these bits - they worked perfectly and saved a boatload of time and aggravation. Yes, you do have to lubricate with water as you work, and yes you have to take your time and be patient, but I don't think any individual hole in the very hard tiles I was cutting into took longer than five minutes, and it was not a difficult five minutes - you just keep light pressure and these awesome bits do the rest.
Carol M: Works great.
Exactly what it says. Works great.

kevin P thomas: Great product for price, awesome for Granite or Quartz.
I bought these to drill a hole in a quartz counter top. Worked perfectly and got me through in about 5 minutes of low pressure drilling. The price is unbeatable in comparison to the so called name brands, and after use the bit is still in good shape. If you find the depth of the project you are drilling is more than the bit you are using, take the smaller bit and grind off the surface you are drilling. Angle the bit and carefully chip away, grinding the surface down, re-attach the original size bit and finish the job.Remember to use water, but a small amount. I used plumbers putty and rubbed some in my hand to make a circle and then make a ring on counter top. I then poured a little water in the ring and began drilling. If it dries up, just add a little more water. If this is the first time you have drilled Quartz or Granite, remember to angle the bit first so the bit does not slide. What I did was first cut a template with a piece of plywood, I then taped it with duct tape to the counter to make a perfect hole, using this method, the hole was exactly where I wanted it.

Works very good. Make sure you cut a hole in something and use it as a guide and use water to keep it cool
Lost in Oregon: Looks like the diamond dust is still cutting
First time to try, made 5 holes in 1/2 ceramic 30 sec each, running a little water while drilling at a slow speed. Looks like the diamond dust is still cutting.
