Cory Enderby: Cut right through it
Happy with the quality of the hole saw. Thanks!
RKos: Plaster ceilings, no problem!
I used this hole saw to drill out recessed ceiling light. Had to go thru a layer of plaster and drywall. This saw plowed right into hit. The lights I put in needed a true 6” hole. And this saw does a true 6” hole unlike non I could find. Only set back, and I knew this having used these before, is it has no pilot drill. So what I did is cut a 10”x10” piece of drywall. Put it on the ground with another scrape piece of drywall under it. Pinch the saw with your knees and hold on tight. Ounce you have your template, screw it to the ceiling and your good to go. Now I’m repainting the ceiling so the screw hole were fine for me. Good luck to you!!!
